Friday Favorites {3.31.23}

Happy Friday Friends! I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika to share my Favorites with you!

So here we go...

1. This verse from my Bible Study this past week has been such an encouragement to me. If you need a Bible study to join, I cannot recommend Bible Study Fellowship enough. This was my first year to join, and I love it! Click the link, and find a group in your area. It will be over in May, but will start again next September. Next year we're studying the book of John and I can't wait.

"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

2. I am wanting to get some new nail polishes for spring and I'm thinking this pastel yellow is going to be my next purchase. How pretty!

3. Speaking of Amazon, in May we're headed to the Bahamas and I'm thinking I'll grab this dress in black. I've seen Shay talk about this dress for a couple years and she always looks cute in it...stay tuned!

4. If you're in the market for a new skincare routine, I can't recommend this one enough! It comes with a cleanser, day cream with SPF, night cream and eye cream. It's going to defend against signs of aging, it smells amazing, and just feels so good on your skin!

Just by consistently using a skincare routine (from the same line that is made to work together) I have noticed such a big difference in the over all health of my skin. Most noticeably I've had far fewer breakouts and when I have had some they have cleared up much faster. 5. Finally...the SPRING WEATHER!! I can't wait to get outside this weekend and enjoy the SUNSHINE!

Book Review--Summer Reading Ideas

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend and a good start to your short week! I thought I'd jump on here today and review some books that I've read recently. I mentioned these in my Friday Favorites post last week and that I'd do an actual review of them soon...so here we go! Four VERY different books, but all GREAT reads! #1 Not A Happy Family Ok, I REALLY loved this book! It's suspenseful, but not scary. It hooks you right from the beginning, as it really is a "who done it" type read. I truly had no idea how it would end until I got there. I have read a couple of Lapena's books, and this one really made me interested to read more. #2 Our Woman in Moscow This is the second Beatriz Williams book I've read and I really enjoyed it. I read A Hundred Summers last year and I really LOVED that one. I listened to that one on audiobook so maybe that was part of the reason I loved it so much, I don't really know. This hist...

What's Up Wednesday {April 2023}

Hey Hey Friends! I'm here on a Wednesday to link up with Shay and Sheaffer for What's Up Wednesday! So let's get into it! What We're Eating This Week... I made this soup last week and it was delish!! Try it, you'll love it! What I'm Reminiscing About... Teaching...this time of year with the anticipation of summer coming, it makes me miss the classroom! I hope to go back someday. What I'm Loving... Hyaluronic Acid I started using this a few months ago, and I love it! It gives my skin the extra boost of hydration it needs, and I really think it helps keep my breakouts at bay, and when I do have a few I think it helps them heal faster. A little goes a long way, I only use 1-2 drops, twice a day. What We've Been Up To... Playing outside and enjoying all the beautiful spring weather! Friday Favorites {4.21.23}

Happy Friday Friends! I'm linking up again with Andrea and Erika to share my FAVORITES from the week! Here we go! 1. Live with Kelly and Mark! I watched Live with Kelly for YEARS, and then gave it up the past few years, but when I saw Mark Consuelos (her husband) was going to be the new Co-host, I knew I had to start watching again. I always loved when he filled in on the show, so I've been recording the show this week, and I love it. 2. It's been chilly here which has got me pulling out all my sweatshirts and sweaters again. And also shopping for sweatshirts 😂 I saw this oversized one on Amazon and loved this orange one for spring! 3. I also pulled out one of my favorite nail polishes this week, Essie Toned Down .
