Books On My Summer 2022 To-Read List

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm back from our family vacation, and ready to share with you books on my summer reading list! I'm linking up with  That Artsy Reader Girl  for Top Ten Tuesday! Ok, I don't know if you follow  Shay  at  Mix and Match Mama , but she is literally where I get all my book ideas! Every month she reviews all the books she read that month, and after I read her posts I go to my library app and check out all the good ones! So...to get my list for today I opened up my library app and found all the books I have on hold. Here is my list of books I want to read (hopefully this summer!)...let me know if you've read any of these in the comments and if they're worth my time! In no particular order... Summer Love  by Nancy Thayer Out of the Clear Blue Sky  by Kristan Higgins The Wedding Veil  by Kristy Woodson Harvey One Night on the Island  by Josie Silver The Night She Disappeared  by Lisa Jewll The Girls in the Stilt House  by Kelly Mustian One Italian Su

What I Wore Wednesday 6.15.22

Happy Wednesday Friends! We're headed out on a little vacation tomorrow, so I won't be blogging here for a couple weeks but wanted to leave you with a few outfit ideas for what I wore Wednesday! Here we go! First up, I love a sweet baby doll top! Mine is old from  Altard State . This one  here  is similar. Or how cute is this  white tee  for only $24 from Wal-Mart?? I'm also loving these  denim shorts  I picked up at  Loft  a couple weeks ago. I've worn them several times and they are very comfy. They've been 30% off for a while now, so maybe you can still snag them with the discount!  Ok, I picked up this  Free People strawberry tee  last summer and I have worn it a TON! It's cute with leggings or front tucked into shorts. It's also cute in spring and fall with a chunky sweater over it. It just makes me happy! This Grand Canyon tee is another one I grabbed front Altard State last summer. I can't find it on their site now, but I love this  Nashville one

Father's Day Gift Guide

Happy Saturday friends! Ok, funny story...I had originally planned to post a Father's Day Gift Guide this past week and had the post all written out. The day before I was to publish it, I changed my mind and decided I didn't like the post so deleted the whole thing! Fast forward to today...my hubby was talking about a new pair of tennis shoes he got this week and was going on and on about them, about how comfortable they were, etc, etc...then he said, "You should put these on your blog!" Then he followed it up with, "OHHH you should blog about Father's Day gifts, these would be perfect to put on there!" Then he started giving me ideas for the post and several of the things he said were things that I had originally had on the gift guide! πŸ˜‚The whole conversation was just too funny, so I thought ok later today I'm going to go ahead and put together a Father's Day gift guide for the blog! So here we go...first up... The AMAZING tennis shoes  he got

Friday Favorites 6.10.22

Hello Friends! Happy Friday! Today I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  again for my Friday Favorites!  Here we go... #1  I am loving this  nail polish in Go Ginza ! It's the perfect neutral with just a touch of light purple.  #2 New Bible Study I'm so excited to start this Bible Study on June 27! It's a study of the book of Judges from Proverbs 31 Ministries. You work through the book, as well as follow along in the First 5 app. This past year I did a Bible study at my church through the book of Ezekiel and it was amazing. They didn't offer any studies like that for the summer so a friend and I are going to do this one here for the next couple months. It helps me so much to be in the Word and doing a Bible study really helps keep me on track with that. If you'd like to do it with me click  here !  #3  Remember in this post  here  when I shared a few things I had purchased for vacation? Well, the items came in and I love everything! This is the  tee  I'

Books with a Unit of Time in the Title

Happy Tuesday friends! Today I'm linking up with  That Artsy Reader Girl , for Top Ten Tuesday, to share some books with a unit of time in the title. That is the theme of her link up today, so here we go. I decided to do my top 5--going from least favorite to most favorite! #1  In Five Years I feel like I've seen quite a few people share about how much they loved this book, but for whatever reason I really didn't care for it, and when it was over I felt like I had wasted a lot of my time πŸ˜‚ You can read the premise of the book  here , but I really wouldn't recommend it LOL.  If you feel like Christmas in the summer you'll enjoy my next two... #2  The Twelve Dates of Christmas I really loved this one. It's very cute, and I listened to it on audio book and really enjoyed the British accent it was told in. Kate is a designer and baker who lives in Blexford, England. Her friend sets her up with this agency to help people find love before the holidays. She has 23 da

It's ADDICTING! So don't start it if you don't want to have a problem stopping πŸ˜‚ #3 Vacation Clothes We're headed out on a vacation in a couple weeks and I needed to grab a few comfy basics. Here's what I ordered!  These  denim shorts  (30% off!!) These  shorts  in birch beige and new sand beige This  t-shirt  in new sand beige (let's hope it's not too cropped πŸ˜‚) This  tee  in active yellow (love the cute tie in the front!) And this basi

What I Wore Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Friends! Today I thought I'd share a roundup of some outfits I've been wearing lately. I don't know about you but being a stay-at-home momma has me in a funk sometimes with getting myself ready each day...so maybe posting some outfits will get me motivated to get myself ready πŸ˜‚ One can only hope! LOL Outfit #1 I love an eyelet dress for spring and summer. My exact dress is sold out at  Target , but I saw this  one  at  Loft  and I just think it's the perfect color for summer! And 30% off right now too! Outfit #2 I wore this outfit over the Memorial Day Weekend. My gingham top is old from  Madewell , but how adorable is this  one ?? Or this  one  if you like this style of shirt.  Outfit #3 This outfit is brought to you by, "It was still cold in May" πŸ˜‚ I can't find my exact  Aerie  hoodie, but I love this  one  and this  one  for summer!  Outfit #4 I really love this t-shirt . It's longer in the back and perfect for jeans/leggings or f
