What I Wore Wednesday

 Happy Wednesday Friends! Today I thought I'd share a roundup of some outfits I've been wearing lately. I don't know about you but being a stay-at-home momma has me in a funk sometimes with getting myself ready each day...so maybe posting some outfits will get me motivated to get myself ready 😂 One can only hope! LOL

Outfit #1

I love an eyelet dress for spring and summer. My exact dress is sold out at Target, but I saw this one at Loft and I just think it's the perfect color for summer! And 30% off right now too!

Outfit #2

I wore this outfit over the Memorial Day Weekend. My gingham top is old from Madewell, but how adorable is this one?? Or this one if you like this style of shirt.

Outfit #3

This outfit is brought to you by, "It was still cold in May" 😂 I can't find my exact Aerie hoodie, but I love this one and this one for summer!

Outfit #4

I really love this t-shirt. It's longer in the back and perfect for jeans/leggings or front tucked with shorts. I've had my eye on this one too! I love the pink color. Oh and I love this top that's on sale too! Ok that's enough with the free people tops! 😂

Well, that's about all I have for today...must mean I've been wearing mostly leggings lately 😂
Before I go, if you'd like to follow me in the Liketoknow.it app you can find me @mrspennanen. I do share more things there than I do here on the blog.

Thank you for reading, and I'll see you guys back here for Friday Favorites!

Book Review--Summer Reading Ideas

 Happy Tuesday friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend and a good start to your short week! I thought I'd jump on here today and review some books that I've read recently. I mentioned these in my  Friday Favorites post  last week and that I'd do an actual review of them soon...so here we go! Four VERY different books, but all GREAT reads! #1  Not A Happy Family Ok, I REALLY loved this book! It's suspenseful, but not scary. It hooks you right from the beginning, as it really is a "who done it" type read. I truly had no idea how it would end until I got there. I have read a couple of Lapena's books, and this one really made me interested to read more. #2  Our Woman in Moscow This is the second Beatriz Williams book I've read and I really enjoyed it. I read  A Hundred Summers  last year and I really LOVED that one. I listened to that one on audiobook so maybe that was part of the reason I loved it so much, I don't really know. This histo

Books On My Summer 2022 To-Read List

 Happy Tuesday friends! I'm back from our family vacation, and ready to share with you books on my summer reading list! I'm linking up with  That Artsy Reader Girl  for Top Ten Tuesday! Ok, I don't know if you follow  Shay  at  Mix and Match Mama , but she is literally where I get all my book ideas! Every month she reviews all the books she read that month, and after I read her posts I go to my library app and check out all the good ones! So...to get my list for today I opened up my library app and found all the books I have on hold. Here is my list of books I want to read (hopefully this summer!)...let me know if you've read any of these in the comments and if they're worth my time! In no particular order... Summer Love  by Nancy Thayer Out of the Clear Blue Sky  by Kristan Higgins The Wedding Veil  by Kristy Woodson Harvey One Night on the Island  by Josie Silver The Night She Disappeared  by Lisa Jewll The Girls in the Stilt House  by Kelly Mustian One Italian Su

What's Up Wednesday {April 2023}

 Hey Hey Friends! I'm here on a Wednesday to link up with  Shay  and  Sheaffer  for What's Up Wednesday! So let's get into it! What We're Eating This Week... I made  this soup  last week and it was delish!! Try it, you'll love it! What I'm Reminiscing About... Teaching...this time of year with the anticipation of summer coming, it makes me miss the classroom! I hope to go back someday. What I'm Loving... Hyaluronic Acid I started using this a few months ago, and I love it! It gives my skin the extra boost of hydration it needs, and I really think it helps keep my breakouts at bay, and when I do have a few I think it helps them heal faster. A little goes a long way, I only use 1-2 drops, twice a day. What We've Been Up To... Playing outside and enjoying all the beautiful spring weather! I love this time of year--the allergies not so much, but the weather I'm here for. What I'm Dreading... Cleaning LOL...anyone else feel like they continuously clea
